2400 Market Street, a 600,000-square-foot building on Philadelphia’s riverfront is one of the city’s most impressive mixed-use projects to date. The design team tapped Provenance for a seating option that was in line with their sustainable focus. Provenance had just the right material: Sturdy heart pine beams that once served as support columns for a historic warehouse in Brooklyn. By sanding, charring, and adding custom bases, we transformed them into a suite of unique benches that unite the expansive public terrace.
