A stunning mix of natural materials provides the backdrop for this award-winning South Beach dining destination
The luxurious South Beach restaurant designed by OV & Co. melds Mediterranean vibes with the Japanese concept of Wabi-sabi. Filled with wood, stone, and clay, the atmosphere celebrates the warmth and imperfect beauty of natural materials.
Provenance’s wood, which is featured prominently throughout the space, infuses the restaurant with rich textures. Vertically-placed hand-hewn beams frame a collection of pottery and poplar slats follow the gentle curves of the ceiling. Because reclaimed materials come in a wide range of conditions and lengths, we sorted through our vast collection to ensure a cohesive edit. Each beam was then meticulously processed before being sent on its way. With its one-of-a-kind character, the wood effortlessly embodies the ethos of this sanctuary-like setting.
