back arrowOld Face Bleached Ipe

  • Provenance salvaged the material for this old face bleached ipe from the boardwalks that stretched across New York’s storied coastline. A native species from the rainforest regions of South America, it’s known for its durability and rich color profile. Ipe is also one of the hardest woods in the world. It holds the same fire-safety rating as steel and even with decades of exposure to the extreme weather conditions of the shore, this wood has stood the test of time.
