Metal name plates, handwritten labels, and slanted pigeon hole cubbies lined in galvanized tin give the Oliver hardware cabinet unmistakable character. Arrange objects in it shadowbox-style or use it as an organizational tool.
Provenance acquired this vintage piece from Meeker’s Hardware, a family-owned shop in Danbury Connecticut. Located in a Classic Revival building just outside the city’s Main Street Historic District, it was known for its impressive inventory of tools, gardening supplies, and feed. The store opened in 1885 and was later added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.
Need extra space? Pair it with the Stewart cabinet, which is a close match.
