Presidential City, a Philadelphia high-rise apartment building, underwent major renovations, transforming it into a world-class living experience. The Post Brothers’s revamped property has cosmopolitan touches that would look at home in a chic boutique hotel. Each of the four buildings is named after an influential U.S. president and has its own distinctive style. The updated interiors appeal to both discerning urban-paced commuters and community-minded families. Residents pass through lobbies outfitted with plush furniture and gather at the luxe swim club. Provenance fabricated reception desks that embody the ultramodern aesthetic and serve as welcome destination points.

The Madison building was inspired by a multicultural melting pot and an unexpected combination of materials play off each other. Light from whimsical neon chandeliers shines on raw concrete beams and playful depictions of presidents grace the walls. To echo the theme, Provenance crafted a reception desk of rugged old face oak timbers, blackened steel, and polished marble. The highly dimensional structure and range of textures make it intriguing at any angle. For the Jefferson building’s reception area, Provenance created a desk with a Calcutta gold marble top and a burnished brass base. Its sharp corners and glowing metallic surface anchor the minimalist entryway.
